1. What this site is
Dublin Tourism Guide publishes editorial travel guides about Dublin and the surrounding counties. It is an information service only. It does not sell, book, reserve, arrange or act as an agent for any flight, hotel, tour, ticket or other travel product, and it is not a party to any contract you enter into with a business mentioned here.
2. Accuracy, and its limits
Guides are researched against operators’ own published information and against the relevant Irish public bodies, and are corrected when errors are reported. Even so, the details that matter most to a trip are exactly the ones that change without notice: admission prices, seasonal and bank-holiday opening hours, Luas and DART fares, Guinness Storehouse and Kilmainham Gaol ticket release windows, festival dates, and whether a restaurant is still trading.
Nothing here is a guarantee that a place will be open, available or priced as described. Confirm anything your trip depends on directly with the operator before you travel or book. Information is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.
3. Not professional advice
Content on this site is general information for travellers. It is not legal, financial, immigration, insurance or medical advice. Statements about entry requirements, visas, customs allowances, driving rules in Ireland, travel insurance or health precautions are background only, and change; check the official position with the Irish government, your own government and your insurer.
4. Your own safety and judgement
Some activities described here — coastal walks at Howth and Bray, cycling in Dublin traffic, swimming at the Forty Foot, hillwalking in the Wicklow Mountains, late-night travel — carry risk. You take part in them at your own risk and are responsible for your own assessment of conditions, your fitness and your equipment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for loss, injury or expense arising from decisions taken on the basis of this site.
5. Third-party sites
Guides link to operator websites, transport planners, ticketing platforms and official tourism resources for your convenience. Those sites are outside our control. Linking to a site is not an endorsement of it, and we are not responsible for its content, its accuracy or its handling of your data. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave.
6. Advertising
The site displays third-party advertising. The advertisements shown are selected by an advertising network — currently Mediavine — rather than by us, and their appearance is not an endorsement of the advertiser. Any dealings with an advertiser are between you and them. Editorial coverage is not sold and is not influenced by advertisers.
7. Intellectual property
The text and original material on this site belong to Dublin Tourism Guide and are protected by Irish and international copyright law. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use, and quote briefly with a credit and a link. Republishing guides in whole or substantial part, scraping the site, or using its content to train or ground a commercial model without written permission is not allowed. Images may be licensed from third parties and carry their own terms.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to it, harvest data from it by automated means, or use it for anything unlawful.
9. Changes
Guides are edited continuously and these terms may be updated. The version on this page at the time you read it is the one that applies.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here removes any statutory right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.
